Catherine is the Founder and Principal of Catherine C. Keenan Consulting LLC and a member of the Board of Directors of Agylix AS. Previously, she was the Chief Sustainability Officer of Trinseo.
With 30+ years of experience in the Chemical and Plastics industry Catherine has deep expertise in sustainability strategy development and governance/ESG.
She has built global sustainability programs with disclosure/public reporting aligned with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). She led the setting of 10-year sustainability goals for two global companies, and has positioned companies for improved scores on Environmental/ Social/ Governance (ESG) ratings frameworks.
Additionally, Catherine has expertise in public affairs, B2B branding and reputation, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and crisis management. She has worked on more than 30 M&A transactions and led communications and branding programs related to IPOs and multi-billion-dollar transactions including Dow/Union Carbide, Dow/Rohm and Haas, and Styron/Bain Capital carve-out LBO.
