But they aren’t intelligent per se. So figuring out how to use one to make work more efficient takes two key things: 1. Practice 2. Our willingness to cede work that we may feel very competent at. Large language models are very competent now. If you or your teams aren’t experimenting with ways to help them write for you (e.g. Marketing, Communications, Executive communications, Summaries, etc.) you’re missing out. Luckily I’m not a great editor, but the AI excels at it. ![robot hand](https://www.growth-arc.com/hs-fs/hubfs/robot%20hand.jpg?width=500&height=360&name=robot%20hand.jpg) Yesterday I used an AI to help write: - 📧 A draft communication for a client - 📁 An executive summary of a recent Roundtable - 🎥 A testimonial script - 🎙️ Intro for a podcast soon to drop - 📲 Two social posts The AI saved me likely 3 hrs of time. I wrote the core points of everything.  The AI (GPT-3) did some pretty amazing things. - 🖍️ It polished the editing and grammar. Almost flawlessly. - 📄 It generated a draft template for me to start with. \[Including cut scenes!\] - ✂️ It cut documents down to shorter version. 1:30 script down to 30sec!
